They should go to Regent’s Park in London. Canada Geese are considered to be a ‘pest’ in that park. ๐
I used to walk over and feed them bread by hand though, when I lived opposite.

Yes, they seem to be a sort of ‘marmite’ creature of the bird world. I was so surprised to see them in Canada, though really shouldn’t have been. They were all over the place and obviously used to people, many of whom did feed them.
Good-looking geese! I know they’re messy, but they’re so family-oriented and protective of their young ones. I love watching them fly in formation, honking in happiness. Good for those who protect these powerful birds!

I think they are very handsome. And so did the one in the top photo. He strutted along, pausing every so often to check his reflection in the window!
