Yes, people feed the swans (so of course the gulls get a share). Beside the loch is a caravan park and in the summer swans have been known to go and tap on a caravan door when they want food!
Perfect serenity and those swans are so graceful … kindly tolerating the gulls!😀 I hope this means you are feeling a bit stronger and able to get out a bit. hugs xx
Thanks, Annika. I try to get out every day even if it’s only for a short time (and not if it’s raining!) to get some fresh air. The side effects are lessening, though, which is positive.
Thanks, Maggie – no worries about ‘late’ to comment – the post will be there for – well, who knows, as long as WordPress is around?. I’m glad you enjoyed the images.
Serenity! x

So many swans and gulls in your lovely winter scene! Do visitors feed them, perchance?

It doesn’t seem to take much for birds to adopt a food entitlement mentality, with behavior to match!

Lovely scene! I particularly like the trio of gulls and the rippling water.

That’s my favourite pic, too. I can imagine them gossiping to each other about all the other gulls and the swans 🙂
