Not another one! Have we not had a Dennis in the past? Are they running out of names? The days are definitely getting longer. Or so I keep telling myself.
Thank you, Carol, glad you enjoyed the images. I’m afraid it was even more wintry when I woke this morning to a white, snowy world. It is thawing so fingers crossed we don’t have more.
I don’t miss the snow and cold but miss the sight of a sharp frost and newly laid snow which is why I love images like yours…Stay warm and upright if you are walking in the snow, Mary…I have hit the pavement a few times in the past in the snow luckily only hurting my pride 🙂 x
I don’t think I’ll be venturing far today, Carol, even though the pavements are now clear of snow, the day is all grey and cold. I’m envying you your sunshine.
Best stay put then Mary and snuggle up warm …Yes it is warm but we could do with some rain we haven’t had any for a couple of months maybe now it is really hotting up we will get some tropical storms to clear the air 🙂 x
Thanks, Sally, There is not a sign on snow or ice around now! Instead today we went back to torrential rain and winds – though it s a tad milder. So they tell us, anyway.
Lovely photos, Mary. They so look like winter.

Sometimes it’s hard to believe spring will arrive, John. At least the catkins show promise of it.

Yes. Spring seems far off sometimes.

It certainly does today, John, as I woke up to snow. Glad to say it’s disappearing quite fast but it’s so cold I think we’ll have heating on all day.

It looks so mystical. No wonder so many stories come out of that part of the world.

Thanks, Darlene. Yes, it can look very mysterious and mystical and I’m sure there must be ghosts in the castle – though I’ve never seen or felt them 🙂

Storm Dennis this weekend. Let’s hope that’s the end of it. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

They name them in alphabetical order, so we have probably had a Dennis.
The days are getting longer. It was still light at 5:30 pm on Tuesday. 🙂
